Concordia Is a vibrant community of faith. Check out our Newsletter and Calendar for information on upcoming events and activities. Concordia last year started the Heart for the Homeless campaign that set out to discover what our congregation could do to help the homeless in Concord. In the last year we have done a lot to help those in need. We have collected jackets, gloves, hats, mittens, food, games, kitchen items, thermal underwear, and health kits. As part of that program we saw that what was needed in Concord was help for families and children who are homeless. We have begun a process to bring family promise to our community to help families and children. Read the article about these efforts in Concord Monitor.
This year for Martin Luther King the Greater Concord Interfaith Council hosted a day of community service our congregation served at Friends of Forgotten Children. We had a great time by helping others in need. "Anyone can be great, because anyone can serve". -MLK
