WORSHIP AND MUSIC COMMITTEE: Meets the 1st Thursday of each month at 6:30 P.M.
The Worship and Music Committee meets regularly with the pastor and organist and choir director to plan and schedule worship services, present special or alternative services for Council approval. They assist in the administration of the choir and music programs, provide for liturgists and pastors in the absence of the pastor, provide for the services of a qualified organist and choir director and to negotiate agreements made with those people, recruit, instruct and oversee those who serve as acolytes, communion assistants, altar guild members, crucifers, lay readers and ushers. This committee also maintains a system by which the choir vestments, acolyte vestments and paraments are kept clean and in good condition.
